Time is Money Friend

Over the past few years, we have had to turn away more than several customers who presented us with items barely fit for a thrift store. While we don't profess to be one of those 'snobby' elite consignment stores, we can't take just anything. With every item we handle, regardless of value, the workflow looks something like this: Talk to customer, enter customer information into computer, inventory item, figure out what item is, take pictures of item, figure out how much item will cost to ship, write something about item, answer questions about item, collect payment for item, pack and ship item, take item to post office, hope item isn't lost or broken on the way, hope buyer is not unhappy with item, cut check for payment to owner of item, and a few more things I'm probably forgetting. Even selling an item for our minimum value of $50 only yields our business a $16.50 commission. So with that being said, we are happy to take the bad with the good, but we can't just take the bad. Give us good stuff and we will get you great results. Throw the trash in the trash and donate your knickknacks, used clothing, kids toys, and low-end housewares to our friends at www.aidourveterans.com
